                                  HAMERTON

For new readers; Natalie joins Hamerton, a large school that has a lot of things going on, most of them being illegal and terrorizing. She is agonized by the news of her friend's tragic death and she has to face up with the Hamerton's bloody governance in order to secure the President's badge that has the power to decode a bomb that could cause a large massacre. She teams up with Trevor, the ex and most renowned president of Hamerton and Class D students against Nicky and her fellow evil seniors.

Previously on Hamerton;

Two years back
“Trevor Tommy.” Erin had said.
The name echoed in Caitlin’s mind all that night. She knew who Trevor Tommy was. Trevor was one of those kids who got all that they wanted. Caitlin met him in one big celebration held in Florida, USA in 2008. The man who hosted the party was Tommy Michael, Trevor’s dad and Mr. Brooks’ employer. The Brooks and Tommy were family friends and that was how Caitlin met Trevor.
According to Caitlin’s knowledge, Trevor was a very intelligent guy and if he was the president of HAMERTON schools then he truly deserved it. She wondered just how more handsome he must have grown to be. Since they saw each other, it was past 2 years. Sighing, she turned around on her bed deciding to catch some sleep. Just then a shutter of glass arouse her from sleep.
“Ouch!” a painful cry followed.
Caitlin dismounted the bunk bed quickly and dashed to where the sound came from. It was very dim and she forgot where the light switches of their dormitories were located. Luckily she could get her torch from her school bag close to the bedroom exit.
She got into a long corridor that was bordered by many open door rooms. The design, as Caitlin thought was purposefully used for security, in case there was any problem, the students will have a quick exit.
She walked to the end of the corridor where the sounds could have come from. There was a staircase and she swayed her hand with the torch around it. She could see a girl sitting on one of the stairs collecting pieces of broken glass.
“Are you okay?” Caitlin called. The girl turned to her and Caitlin waved the torch light away.
“Not really.” The girl replied afterwards.
Caitlin walked down to her. “What happened?”
“I was going to take water and the lights went off. I got scared and my glass slipped.”
“Are you hurt?”
“No.”
Caitlin took the girl’s hand and lifted her up. She looked down on the glass, “so what do we do with that?”
Just then, a light from one of the school buildings flickered. The girls could see it from the transparent glass walls of their own boarding flat.
“Ooh my goodness!” the girl exclaimed with an inquisitive alarm.
“What?” Caitlin asked
Without responding, the girl snatched her arm free from Caitlin’s clutch and started running down the stairs.
“Hey!” Caitlin called going after her. It took them at least three minutes to finish the stairs and Caitlin was already panting breathlessly.
The girl hardly halted to catch a breath and Caitlin chased her to the main school compound. They only stopped a few times to evade the dozens of guards roaming around the school yard.
“Why are you running?” Caitlin asked in a whisper.
“Why are you following me? You should get back inside.” The girl whispered back. They were standing behind an oak within the school premises.
“What if it’s trouble?”
“Then they would sound an alarm.”
“Then why are you running?”
“Are you an MP?”
“What?”
By that time, a guard that threatened their motion had left. The girl resumed her run and Caitlin followed. They emerged into the Chief school building and to a staircase to one hallway. They tiptoed in the hall way to the only two large swing doors available. These were inscribed;

HAMERTON PARLIAMENT

The girl checked the doors. They were unlocked. She swung them open and walked in. Caitlin followed to reveal an extra ordinary hall

Present Day
After mass, Ingrid had to presume with her previous day’s search. She never saw Steven nor Trevor after their afternoon encounter in the lockers.
She now went to the boys’ dormitory, uncaring of how people saw her.
She stood in an empty lounge-room waiting for any of the guys to show up. She was too anxious to sit down. She had a bad feeling about Steven and Trevor’s missing.
As she waited, Brendan one of the seniors from Trevor’s class appeared from a staircase coming to the lounge room in a towel. He was busy talking to a phone and did not see Ingrid yet.
“Brendan.” She called him.
“Really?... yeah, yeah don’t worry.” He said pausing at the stair landing.
“Brendan!” Ingrid snapped and he saw her.
His eyes widened with shock. He screamed at first and begun running up the stairs.
Ingrid rounded her eyes. “Boys…”
“What gives?” Ingrid heard Brendan complain from upstairs. He came down again in a shirt and a pair of trousers.
“Hey. This is a no girl zone.” He said before two more guys joined in the lounge room.
“Yeah. Yeah.” Fred who was one of the other boys supported.
“Yeah. What are you doing here?” Another guy who Ingrid did not know asked.
Ingrid shook her head with impatience. “I am looking for Steve.”
“Steve your boyfriend?” Fred asked.
“Can’t you take your matrimonial issues elsewhere?” Brendan asked rudely.
“He stood you up?” the other guy inquired.
“C’mon. Just tell me where he is… or Trevor.”
Brendan took a moment to recall. “Trevor didn't sleep in the boarding house last night.”
Ingrid narrowed her eyes. “Where did he sleep?”
Brendan shrugged. “I don’t know. Now that you've mentioned it I recall that I never saw him after the Interview. Not for supper not in the dorm later nor anywhere else.”
“Is it possible that he slept in the leader’s quarters?” Ingrid asked.
“That place is off bounds.” Fred reckoned.
“Yes but, Trevor’s the former president, Fred.” Brendan reminded.
“Why would Trevor sleep there?” the other guy posed.
“Good question.” Ingrid said.
“He couldn't have left campus without telling me.” Brendan said.
“Or me.” Ingrid added thoughtfully.
“Can we issue the parliament siren?” Fred asked.
“It’s too early to conclude that Trevor is missing Fred.” Brendan said.
“But, where could he be?” the other guy asked. “The siren will be the only way to know if he is inside the school campus or not.” He glanced at Ingrid. “We can also find Steven that way.”
“Steven was deposed from being an MP when Natalie joined our class.” Ingrid said to him. “But, if we find Trevor, we could find Steven as well.”
“So, we issue the siren. Who has the parliament keys?” Brendan said and asked.
“Archibald.” Fred replied.
“I know a girl who always has a spare.” Ingrid said thinking of Erin.

“Go ahead then, we’ll join you.” Brendan said.

what happened next? stay tuned to find out.
