“You’re endangering yourself Erin. Don’t choose the road that Vivienne took.” The first voice warned. Caitlin matched the voice with that of the girl she was with the other night.
“I did not come here to destroy people’s lives. I came here seeking education. Do you get me Nicky, Irene Stewart… whatever you call yourself!” Erin rasped.
There was no reply. Caitlin trembled on her seat with fear. Destroying people’s lives? How? Why?
“if you go on with this, I’ll tell on you.” Erin continued.
“You can’t do anything.” Nicky replied. “Because this is a big organization and if you dare you will not live to see the following day.” She threatened.
Caitlin gasped, holding her mouth.
“It has already been decreed and you no longer have control over your life or the lives of your family.” Nicky added
“I hate you!” Erin cried.
“Shout all you want.” Nicky dared. “All the voices in this room cannot reach outside.”
Caitlin drew back from the screen. Nicky’s words meant that they did not know that all of their conversation leaked into the computer room.
“You have no family Erin.” A different voice sounded. “Even if you die now, who will claim you? You only have a brother who is already married and lives in Africa with his own family. He doesn’t even remember you.”
“My parents are still alive!” she cried.
“They are dead and buried.” Nicky affirmed.
“How do you know that?”
"We have all your info." Nicky explained.
Caitlin exhaled. She could not take what her friend was pressured into doing. And to think that it was students who were planning such evil, she got so overwhelmed.
Suddenly the screen flickered and she was back to Windows 8 home screen. The computer room became all silent again and she hurriedly signed in to her account to warn Natalie about all that she just heard. Just then the screen read

Incoming…

She paused, frowning. After a few seconds the screen displayed an unread email and she opened it. It was Natalie’s feedback text and it read.

It has been two weeks Caitlin, but I’m joining your school soon. My mom has said so.

Caitlin’s mouth dropped open. She hurriedly began typing a reply to warn her about the school but, before she could send it, the electricity in the room went off. Damn…

what will happen next? stay tuned to find out...
