For new readers;Natalie joins Hamerton, a large school that has a lot of things going on, most of it being illegal and terrorizing. She is agonized by the news of her friend's tragic death and she has to face up with the Hamerton's bloody governance in order to secure the President's badge that has the power to decode a bomb that could cause a large massacre. she teams up with Trevor, the ex and most renowned president of Hamerton and Class D students against Nicky and her fellow evil seniors.

 Where it ended last time. Natalie consents to Ashleigh's idea to hide and seek with the others in their home in Neumann. Paula seeks for an opportunity to hurt Natalie and, informing her of the game, Lucie shows Paula the way how.

The house lights went off and everyone ran to a hiding place. Paula and Lucie had already tied a thin wire connecting the poles at the landing of a long staircase from the third story of the duplex home to the ground floor.

After a long argument with Ashleigh and Lucie, Natalie agreed to seek.

This is the last time I’ll be doing Ashleigh a favor. Natalie thought after bumping on the wall of their floor’s corridor. “Come out come out, wherever you are.” She called hopelessly.

The house was silent. They aren't even fidgeting. She whined groping on the wall. “Ah hah!” she snapped hearing chuckles from downstairs.

There was another voice of a girl blaming her fellow for making the noise.

Natalie frowned. That sounded too familiar.

She felt the painting frames that hanged on the wall, aiming for the stairs.

She held the pole before something brushed her bare ankles and she tottered back a few steps.

A meow followed.

“Cats! God!” Natalie exclaimed.

“Cats, cats?” A different voice called with fright.

Natalie was almost happy that one of the girls showed herself but, then the girl hit her, running toward the stairs.

There was a shriek then multiple thuds that Natalie gruesomely acknowledged before a painful groan.

Natalie’s eyes widened, swallowing. She immediately felt for a switch on the wall that lit the floor.

Some girls appeared from the corners with confused faces.

Natalie peeped down.  

She covered her mouth while the girls screamed.

It was Ashleigh and she laid on a pool of blood.
