Chapter two : Hamerton

Caitlin sat in the waiting room of HAMERTON HIGH SCHOOL. This was part of HAMERTON SCHOOLS COOP.

It was the biggest or probably the grand school in England. It had nursery, elementary and secondary school with both junior high and senior high. Therefore it had more than 30000 students and its large compound could accommodate all of them plus the more than 10000 staff both teachers, patrons, matrons and guards.

The campus covered more than 200 hectares for the school buildings alone the surrounding lane and garden. There were also other acres for the large school boarding houses. Plus a world standard football stadium, basketball court, tennis court you name it... Hamerton had it all.

There were five large buildings, each with twenty floors consisting of the student rooms, offices cafeteria and lecture halls. One of the buildings had THE PARLIAMENT.

The lower classes that is the nursery and primary students had their own quarters separated from the seniors.

Caitlin was so excited and delighted to join the new school although she feared to be separated from Ralph.

Mr. Brooks came out of the office. “You’re registered” he announced.
