HAMERTON 2 Chapter 3- Final episode

HAMERTON 2
Thank you God for this opportunity.

Hamerton. A large school offering the finest Education to the students of the state and overseas. Natalie joins this school arriving from Brooklyn and she has grief over her lost friends who were murdered in Hamerton. She teams up with Ingrid and their fellow seniors against the House of Representatives to prevent a bomb blast that could cause a large massacre.

Happy weekend viewers!

Previously on Hamerton; Ivan finds Ingrid alone in Natalie's office, looking for the President's badge. They both have to find Natalie, to get the badge before she gives it up to Archibald, at the emergency assembly at nine.
Natalie bumps into Archibald who openly shows his hate toward her and humiliates her in front of the press. She has to follow him into the theater where all students are gathering to watch her resign.

Continue into the final episode of this Chapter of Hamerton

Ivan and Ingrid searched for Natalie in vain. As the time went, Ivan realized that he did not have the opportunity to announce the emergency assembly. Thanks to HAD TV, everyone knew where to gather even before it struck 9 ‘O’ clock.
At that time, Natalie found herself standing behind the decibel without her written speech. She did not have the time to meet up with Ivan and collect the speech. She regretted to have left her office in the first place. Maybe, together, they would have come up with a plan to combat the situation.
Now, facing an audience who highly anticipated her downfall, Natalie was cornered.
She shut her eyes for some seconds, searching for words that could at least, hide her shame. Not for something that she did but, for all the things that bad people spread about her.
She remembered her mom’s words about praying and being strong and all the good things. She just hoped that they would work at that time. She then took in a deep breath and opened her eyes.
She greeted but, as she expected, there was no response.
She sighed. The spectators were so discouraging. And to think that, it was this people that elected her.
Yes! ‘People who elected her’. That would be her pick up line!
She smiled a little and took in a deep breath, bracing herself to address the students. “Early this year on February 17th, I, Natalie Bradley, monitor of the student class of the Democratic Party that is, Class D was elected by majority vote of the Hamerton students, to become the 15th President of Hamerton School in Hamerton, succeeding the 14th President, Trevor Tommy, former monitor of the Senior class of the Solidarity party that is Class S. The elections that took place at the same time, marked the first transition of the student government of Hamerton from the two decade rule of the Solidarity Party of the senior students to the Democratic party that was supported by many students of Hamerton.” she paused and there were many blunt expressions given by the audience. “I will not be bragging if I say that, these elections were the most truthful and fare. There were many celebrations in Hamerton after the Democratic Party won. Many students were tired of the almost endless regime of the Solidarity party that, was filled with class division, improper use of power and regretfully, loss of our fellow Hamerton students.”
There were nods.
“In my time, I struggled to reconcile the two major classes; the Solidarity and the Democratic. I managed to achieve this by forming a coalition government where, I chose the Vice President from the Solidarity Party, Mr. Sylvester Fish and picked Ministers from the same party as well as from other subclasses such us the Republic class, class R and Transformation class, class T. These, along with the Democratic class formed the Hamerton government that ruled in equity and peace throughout my time. And as we may have noticed,” she paused to add a little bit informally, “Nowadays, we have couples coming from different classes and Mr. and Ms. Hamerton title this year went to Brendan Bryson and Anitha Jordan, both alumni of class S and class R students of Hamerton.” she paused and there were more nods and chuckles.
She smiled a little, feeling encouraged. “Apart from that, the new government managed to bring Development to our school by authorizing formation of private institutions such as the M ‘n’ E Paper which was an idea of Miss Ingrid S Tommy, founded and supported by all the class D and S members, in memory of our students; Michael Morningstar and Erin Shawn. M ‘n’ E provides weekly news to the Hamerton community.
“We also have Hamerton All Day TV and the Junior Bakery which run smoothly as part of Hamerton institutions.
“Students of Hamerton. As you may have been well informed, the relationship between me and the Head girl of one of Hamerton’s partner schools, Paula Moure was not working perfectly. I would like to explain the event that happened yesterday night but, to do that, I first have to narrate to you correctly,” she emphasized, “how everything happened.”
The audience was silent, attentive.
“Paula Moure and I met for the first time, here in Hamerton, when I was an MP. She came as a member of the House of Representative group to be a part of the planning of the international debate competitions that later took place in Berlin, Germany.” She paused, recalling. “I was recommended to be among the speakers who represented Hamerton in the competitions in Berlin and when I arrived there, it was evident that, I was going to lead Hamerton to the finals and perhaps, win the cup for our school.” She paused and there were nods of assertions. “St. Ann Marie was our only challenge or at least, we were their biggest challenge. I believe that, Miss Moure realized that and for whatever her reasons, plotted to harm me.
“I will not get into too much details but, the efforts of Paula to take my life, caused the end of my friend and member of the House of Representatives, Ashleigh Smith.” She said as her eyes filled with tears. “Ashleigh died awfully and Paula Moure was arrested for it. After returning back home in New York, I was called to the hearing of Paula’s case in France but, I did not go. I did not want to repay Paula for the harm that, she did to me and to my friend, Ashleigh. I believe that, due to insufficient evidence, Paula Moure and her accomplice, Lucie, were released and obviously, resumed their duties as students and members of the HOR.” She paused to check the audience expressions. Most of them were frowning.
“Yesterday, we hosted the HOR in our school and had a private meeting where I did revoke the allegiance of Hamerton with SOHOR, basing on the negligence of the action of Paula to another member of the HOR and other reasons that are a matter of School security.” She said and there were gasps and murmurs. She neglected that and went on. “Yesterday night while I was in the bathroom, Paula came to attack me. She had a pipe in her hand that she was going to hit me with, claiming that, she came to finish the business that she started.
“I tried to calm her but, she was more than willing to end my life. She hit me on the stomach and on the back with the pipe and lying on the ground, the only way that I could keep myself from being killed was to kick her foot.” She sighed. “Paula fell on her back and hit the sink. As I learned later, she injured her head pretty badly.
“Students of Hamerton. I would like to make it clear that, I had no intention of getting back at Paula for the murder of my friend. If I did, then, I would have done that by appearing at the hearing of her case in France and perhaps, ensure her life sentence. If at all you were misled to believe that, I took advantage of our privacy and the absence of secret cameras in the bathrooms, to hit Paula against the sink, then,  I would like to clarify to you today that, I did no such thing. If you follow the case you will find out that, Paula had only one injury on the head while I, broke some ribs and am actually leaning on one side to reach anywhere. That means that, if, I was determined to harm her then, I would have purposely inflict as many injuries as possible on her body, something which, she was doing to me. The wound on Paula, which I regret to have been forcefully caused to cause, was an absolute accident.” She said and sighed deeply while the audience supported her statement with many nods and yes’s.
She took in a deep breath searching for her friends in the crowd. There was Ingrid at the theater entrance, crying. Ivan held her for support.
Natalie looked at the board of directors at the high table and met her gaze with Madam Sue’s. The lady seemed equally sorry.
Natalie sighed and felt her pocket where the original golden-inscribed President’s badge, was.
Yes. She was giving it up. She was reclining from the mission to save Hamerton.
Giving the speech, she already decided to go to London to see Trevor before returning to New York for good.
She took of the badge off, releasing a tear. “I will not deny that, I am a victim of circumstances. I would have loved to keep on governing Hamerton and realize my dreams for this school, Trevor’s dreams.” She said emotionally, thinking about him. “But, to clear my image and to show my integrity and absolute sincerity that I have never meant to harm anyone,” she shut her eyes exhaling. “I, Natalie Bradley the 15th President of Hamerton school in Hamerton, hereby resign from being President and step down from power with the rest of my government, to pave way for the upcoming elections for leaders, who will be true, just, kind, honest and have all the good intentions for the Hamerton Community.” She said, accompanied by many sorrowful sighs. “I am so sorry Hamerton if I ever let you down. Please, don’t hesitate to consult me about anything that you think can raise our school to the next levels. I promise that, for as long as I am here, my ever sincere aid will never fail, to you.” she concluded, releasing tears of sadness.
By this time, Archibald had already proudly walked to the platform to collect the badge. “Cut the crap Miss Bradley. We all know who you really are.” He told her.
She shook her head. “No, sir you don’t. I never meant to hurt Hamerton.”
“Just give me the badge and go already.” He urged her.
She handed him the President’s badge and stepped down the stage, walking down the aisle across the theater.
All the students rose, applauding and calling;

PRESIDENT! PRESIDENT! PRESIDENT!

Natalie was not at all comforted by their praise. She already decided never to run again.

Archibald took the mic. “Okay, okay. Stop the commotion.” He said, sparsely calming the crowd. “From now on, the government will be acted by the Discipline committee. All monitors however, are still holding their duties. You will be notified when you will have the next General election.

HAMERTON Chapter 3-episode 10

Hallo dear viewers.

Previously on Hamerton;Natalie is discharged from the clinic and shows her concern about Paula's health. The doctor tells her and St. Ann Marie girls who came to visit, that Paula is out of danger and that she will be transfered to a hospital in London. Cheryl convinces Natalie to address the Hamerton students about what happened between her and Paula.

Continue;

 Today

Natalie stood nervously at the door of Madam Sue’s office. The director called Natalie soon after she went on air with HTV, unfolding the events that happened in the conference hall with SOHOR and in the bathroom with Paula Moure.
Natalie took in a deep breath and knocked.
“Come in.” Madam sounded from inside the office and Natalie opened the door to enter.
She beheld the lady’s extravagant office, fancily furnished with mahogany. The floor was covered by a brown carpet, and there were expensive paintings on the wall
Madam Sue herself sat behind a desk, wearing a brown suit. She held a pen in her hand and fixed her gaze upon Natalie when she walked in. “How are you Natalie?”
“Doing better ma’am. Good morning?”
“Good morning. Please, have a seat.” The lady replied, waving to a pair of chairs in front of her desk.
Natalie walked forward and occupied one of the seats and then waited to hear what the madam had to say.
“Can you tell me what happened?” Madam Sue began the conversation with a question.
Natalie took in a deep breath and begun. “I was in the bathroom when Paula came to attack me. She had a pipe in her hand. She hit me twice with it. She was going to hit me again if I hadn’t defended myself.” She paused, to add with tears of regret tingling her eyes. “I had no intention of injuring her. I was hardly aware that she knocked herself to a sink. Ma’am, I didn't do anything on purpose. She was going to attack me.”
Madam Sue nodded, showing to accept her statement.
Natalie sighed with relief. “Thank you madam, thank you for believing me.”
“I do Natalie. When I first saw you, I liked you because, you reminded me of my younger self.” She said and suddenly sighed. “I could support you in the discipline meeting to keep you from expulsion but,” she paused.
Natalie furrowed her eyebrows. “But what ma’am?”
“You have to lose your seat.” The lady announced.
Natalie’s mouth dropped open with shock, gasping. “You mean… I,” she swallowed, “I can’t be President?”
Madam Sue nodded.
“But, why?” Natalie asked, frowning. “I didn't do anything. Paula hit me, she was going to kill me. Was I supposed to die?”
“Calm down Natalie.”
Natalie sighed. “I am sorry. I just, I just don’t understand why I have to lose my seat. I can be President. I have to be President.” She cried.
“Natalie it’s the French girls’ statement against yours and all of Hamerton knows that you were unsatisfied with the judgment that the SOHOR gave Paula. It is in the school paper.”
Natalie was silent. She now recalled her speech in the private meeting with the SOHOR. Sylvester. The name came to her mind. She believed that he was the one who leaked their agenda to the press to taint her governance. He was so upset when she broke the allegiance.
Madam Sue shook her head in dismay. “So, it is true.” She concluded.
“No ma’am. I can explain. I broke off with SOHOR for the better of Hamerton.”
“Natalie, that allegiance is 23 years old. Hamerton has benefited so much from it. Whatever your reasons, you had no right to break the engagement.”
“Madam Sue, you don’t understand.” She cried. “I didn't have any selfish reasons when I broke off with SOHOR.” She said, assuming that by ‘reasons’, the lady referred to Paula. “I know how well the allegiance has served Hamerton and how the school’s name has grown because of it. But, I thought that, Hamerton needs a new allegiance, which our school can be supreme leader. I already planned to make communications with schools in America,” she paused, trying to come up with convincing arguments. “New York!” She exclaimed. “Yes, everybody dreams of going to New York.”
“Natalie, didn't you think of adding your ‘New York’ schools to our mother allegiance?”
“No. I want that to be in a separate or rather new allegiance.”
Madam Sue shook her head, seemingly unconvinced. “Even so, Natalie. CCTV cameras caught you and another guy, kissing in the leaders’ quarters.”
Natalie frowned. “I haven’t been kissing anyone in the leaders’ quarters.”
“Trevor, perhaps?”
Natalie was silent, recalling the time when Trevor came to see her in the leaders’ quarters.
“Natalie. You are the top leader of Hamerton. You ought to know better than to give a bad example. You know the rules. The leaders’ quarters are the first place to be honored in all of Hamerton. I mean, you are not allowed to kiss anywhere but, since we can’t control students, at least, we want you to respect those quarters.”
Natalie looked down, feeling embarrassed.
“Natalie. I can’t fight for you any longer. Perhaps, you can run for President in the next elections. If the students still accept you, then, you can have your seat back.”
Natalie looked at her. “Madam, please?” she begged. She did not want to lose the badge. It was the only thing that could save Hamerton.
“No, Natalie. I am sorry.”
Natalie sighed, releasing tears.
“Give me your green card. You will give up your badge to Mr. Archibald in front of all Hamerton students when you to tell them why you are resigning.”
“Please?” Natalie asked again.
Madam Sue extended her hand in response.
Reluctantly, Natalie felt her coat pocket for her President’s mandate card. She gave it to the lady, sighing.
“I am so sorry Natalie.” The lady said sincerely. “But, take it from me that, if you resign, the students will find you accountable. They could elect you again as the next President.”
Natalie was silent.
“Thank you. You may leave now.” The lady said.
Natalie rose. “Thanks’ ma’am. You have done a lot for me.”
“I believe in you.”
Natalie smiled and walked out.
Outside the lady’s office, Natalie met Ivan and Ingrid anxiously waiting for her.
She broke into a cry and immediately fell in Ingrid’s arms. “It’s over Ingrid, we lost.” She sobbed.
Ingrid rubbed her friend’s back, widening her eyes in terror. She could not believe what Natalie just told her.

HAMERTON 2- Prologue

Start;

Tension inside an ICU ward grew large as two nurses pulled a trolley carrying the CPR devices. The doctor who stood by the bed took the devices quickly and pressed them against the patient’s chest.
The patient bounced once. Simultaneously, a beep sounded on the ECG machine that was connected to his bed.
“Please, do everything doctor.” Corny requested, standing a few feet from the bed.
After arriving the clinic where Trevor was confined, Corny made the immediate and necessary arrangements to transfer Trevor to a sophisticated and more renowned hospital in London. Kenneth had also arrived in a private jet and was in the room, joining his hands together in prayers for his brother’s recovery.
The doctor did another CPR.
There was a ‘Beep’ and the heartbeat line went flat.
The doctor took in a deep breath. He knew that he could not lose him.
He did another CPR.
Ting………………………………..
“Please? Trevor?” Kenneth cried.
The doctor did another CPR.
Ting……………………………
“No.” Cowls whispered.
The doctor sighed.
“Doctor?” One of the nurses called, suspecting the doctor’s discouraged expression.
The doctor braced himself inwardly to perform another CPR.
Trevor’s body bounced forward and reclined to the bed while the ECG machine line raised once.
The doctor glanced at the machine’s screen and faintly watched the peek dropping into a long and fatal flat line.
“Time of death?” The doctor called.
Kenneth gasped at that. “No!” He cried, dashing to Trevor’s side.
Cowls tried to hold him back, releasing a tear himself.
Suddenly, a different sound, other than their sighs and tears filled the room.

BEEP BEEP BEEP.

All in the room popped their eyes at the ECG machine, staring at the way peaks form weakly.
Kenneth broke into a laughter and embraced Trevor on the bed.
The doctor and the nurses smiled feeling glad to have revived yet another of their patient.
Cowls sighed with relief, feeling happy that Trevor would live.

The students who could not leave the other day had to assemble the next morning to listen to the board of directors and some government officials who arrived.
The Assemble was quite dull and disorganized. Most of the students were in their home clothes and hardly stood in line.
Instead of the old prefects, the teachers led the assembly and after saying a few words, Archibald welcomed Madam Sue to address the students.
“On behalf of all the Hamerton directors, we thank the Ministers of Home Affairs, Honorable John Reed and deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Twilight Brown, for your presence this day. I thank also the staff and students for your calmness even to this hour.
“We extend our sincere and heartfelt pardon for the commotion and scene that took place in the school compound recently.
“The police are here and have been around since yesterday, investigating the deaths of our students,” Madam Sue spoke and paused, looking down to a paper on the decibel. “Erin Shawn, Michael Morningstar,” she paused and looked at the students. “And Nicky. They have found out that the murders were related to the ongoing election campaigns in our school.
“I adjure everyone here to provide their maximum cooperation to the Police force so that they can pin down everyone involved in the shootings within the school compound.” She paused, sighing then frowned. “I would like to make it clear that the school compound is no place for shootings. We are going to be strict. We are going to inspect everyone in the school compound, the student and staff for any evidence of weapons or arms that could be used to harm anyone within the school campus.
“If anyone at all is found with guns, knives and the like will be immediately reported and expelled. We will also add tight security at the gate and around the school fence just in case the school has enemies from the outside. We are going to put CCTV cameras in every area of the school compound. From classes to your dormitories. Every action done within Hamerton will be monitored. This will ensure safety for all other components of Hamerton who want to perform their activities in peace and harmony.
“Having said that, I would like for all of us to remain silent for one minute with our heads bowed, so that we can pray and remember the souls of those Hamerton has lost a day ago.”
She concluded and everyone in the assembly grounds, bowed their heads and remained quiet for a minute.
In the middle of the crowds, Natalie cried for Trevor. She cried for him and for Caitlin and for Erin. She felt very alone in the world. So alone that she wished that the earth would open up and swallow her.
At the end of the short prayer sessions, Natalie felt a hand placed over her shoulder. She almost jumped on her feet and turned around, calling, “Trevor?”
But, it was Ingrid standing behind her. “No. But, he is alive.”
Natalie broke into a wide grin at the best news of her life. “Ha _how?” she asked in joy.
“They sent him to a hospital in London. He is recovering there.”
Natalie laughed. “That is great. I must go see him.”
“No, not now.” Ingrid halted her. Natalie begun frowning but, Ingrid told her. “I am saying the truth this time. It is advised that the reality about his condition remains quiet for a while.”
Natalie hesitated for a moment then nodded. “Alright. When will I be able to talk to him?”
“When he is able to talk.”
Natalie’s eyes widened.
“Natalie, he is going to be fine.” Ingrid promised her and took her hands. “And so should we. No more fighting. Alright?”
Natalie thought for a moment. They did after all, come a long way. She sighed. “Alright.”
“And that will be all, thank you.” Madam Sue concluded on the stage and dismissed the assembly.
The whole day was taken for inspection and it went on that way with the new system until the term ended and they entered a new term.
After a long vacation of the second term, they had a graduation for the seniors and with the situation calm, Madam Sue called for the elections. Natalie was a proposed candidate and she became President.
A new badge was made for her on her inauguration day and everything seemed perfect.
Time passed. And Natalie became a senior student of Hamerton and the school President.

HAMERTON Chapter 14- episode 20

             HAMERTON

Hallow new readers & all viewers!
This is a story about Hamerton, a large school that has a lot of things going on, most of them being illegal and terrorizing. Natalie Bradley, an intelligent and talented girl from Brooklyn joins this school after her friend Caitlin who was allegedly murdered in Hamerton. She is agonized by the news of her friend's tragic death and she has to face up with Hamerton's bloody governance in order to secure the President's badge that has the power to decode a bomb that could cause a large massacre, soon.
She teams up with Trevor Tommy, the ex and most renowned president of Hamerton, Ingrid, and other Class D students against Nicky and her fellow evil seniors.

Previously on Hamerton;

“Trevor did not hurt Morningstar!” Ingrid shouted at Archibald the next day in his office.
She, along with the other Hamerton students found out that Morningstar was beaten up and hospitalized while Trevor left the school campus to avoid the consequences.
“Miss Neilands. Please don’t shout in my office?” The principal asked calmly.
She sighed. “Sir, please? Trevor did not hurt Michael. He couldn't have.”
“Oh no?”
She frowned. “Yes… I mean No. He would never harm anyone.”
“Then how can you explain his disappearance just after Michael was injured?”
“Maybe, maybe I don’t know but, Trevor would have had no reason to hurt Michael.”
“Of course he had. Michael upset him at the interview.”
“That is not enough.”
“Listen Miss Neilands. You bring Trevor to my office and then I will decide whether he hurt Michael or not.” He interrupted her.
She shook her head with disappointment and stomped out.
She met Steven in the waiting room of Archibald’s office and fell in his arms crying. “They are saying that Trevor hit Michael, Steve. Please? Tell them that they didn't. Please?” she asked, crying.
“It’s okay Ingrid. Calm down please.” He coaxed her and drew her back. “Shh. It’s going to be fine.” He said wiping her tears.
“Steven.” she stopped him, drawing his hand from her face. “Please? Tell Archibald that you were the last person to be with Trevor.”
“Yes.” He said simply.
She looked amazed by his plain response. “Steven? What’s going on?”
“Ingrid.” He begun and glanced behind her where a couch was. He maneuvered her there and she watched him in queer with her mouth opened.
“Steven. Don’t you get it? They are saying that Trevor hurt Morningstar and we know that he did not.”
“Ingrid. When you left Trevor with me on Saturday and we had to talk, Trevor did not seem himself.”
She narrowed her eyes. “What?”
He pressed her hands in his. “He was mad at Michael for making a fool of him in the interview. We argued for a while. I tried to convince him not to go after Michael… I don’t think that I succeeded.”
She could not believe it. She was not ready to believe it. She drew her hands from his clutch, rising. “Trevor did not hurt Michael, Steven.” she broke into a cry. “I don’t want to accept that.”
He rose after her. “I don’t want to accept it either but, the truth is the truth.”
She frowned, getting mad at him. “How can you say that Steven?” she rasped. “Trevor is your friend.”
“He is and I am not happy that he did not take my advice to leave Michael Morningstar alone.” He shouted too.
Archibald came out of his office after this. “Can you leave my office? It’s not a theater. Please?”
Ingrid wanted to say a word to Steven but, she reclined from the thought and left.
“Good girl.” Archibald said and turned to Steven who was about to leave as well. “Steve, come here.”
Steven hesitated for a moment and joined Archibald in his office.

What happened afterward;
“Sir?” Steven asked after closing the door behind himself.
Archibald had walked behind his desk. He waved to a seat in front of it. “Please?”
“Thank you.” He said and sat.
Archibald sat too.
“What is your relationship with Ingrid?” Archibald asked.
Steven was caught a bit off guard by the question. “Amh… we are going out.”
“Oh and do you talk about SOHOT? I fear for her because, she is making risky moves by defending Trevor or her class for that matter.”
Steven scratched his head. “Sir, I don’t know but, parting from SOHOT was her own choice. She lost interest and since, obviously there is nothing to gain, I understand her.”
“Well, I am telling you because as you said, she is your girlfriend and, you must be caring for her.”
“I do. No doubt about that.” He said and narrowed his eyes. “But, why have you brought this up now? Are you planning anything?”
“I am just giving a fore warning that, there could be accidents.” Archibald said mischievously.
“Sir. You are aware that you can’t touch a Tommy. As far as I know, Ingrid is associated with Mr. Tommy. If there’s but a finger laid on Ingrid, Mr. Tommy will react and set you and the rest of Hamerton in grave danger.”
Mr. Tommy drew a deep sigh as a result. He was also fearful of the fact. “You do not have to remind me that.”
“Maybe I do.” Steven said and sighed as well. “Unlike, the rest of us, Ingrid has a choice. She has people backing her up,” he frowned, “she has Trevor. He is the one who refused to partake in your schemes from the start. I do wish that I could also have a place like his because, none of what we are doing is worth anything. You, Nicky and the rest of SOHOT are a bunch of people driven by awkward hate and resentment.”
Archibald frowned. “Don’t talk like that Steven or insult me in my office!” He bawled.
“I am telling the truth.” Steven retorted loudly. “And I will not take any warning to Ingrid whatsoever because, she made the right choice!”
Archibald banged his desk. “Get out! Get out of my office now!”
Steven rose. “I am going to do more than that, sir. I am going out there to tell Madam Sue what you are up to.”
Archibald’s eyes widened with shock. He rose, taking out a gun from his pocket and pointing it at him. “You are not going to tell her anything.”
Steven swallowed, steeling himself. “I will not be threatened by you, not again. I would rather die than be a part of a massacre that you are planning.”
Archibald gritted his teeth in hot temper. “I am going to kill you and don’t you worry because I will take care of the mess and not get convicted for it.” He threatened before the telephone on his desk rang.
He looked at Steven then at the telephone, debating on the action to take. He remained pointing the gun at Steven then picked up the phone.
Steven waited. He was scared of moving a step lest Archibald shot him.
“Yes?” Archibald greeted. His face changed afterward. “What? …. What happened? …. Okay… okay. I’m on my way. …. Did you find the person responsible? …. No? okay. I’m on my way. Yes yes yes.” He said and hang up.
He turned to Steven and lowered his gun. “This is what I've been telling you. One of your friends was just killed.”
Steven exclaimed. “What!”
“Yes.” Archibald said. He also looked distressed from the news. He tucked the gun in his inside coat pocket.
“Who was killed? Who sir?”
“I don’t know that yet.”
“Did you authorize it? Did you? Did you?” he shouted reproachfully.
“No damn idiot and I don’t know who did it or why.” Archibald replied, rounding his desk to leave.
Steven shook his head in disappointment and rushed out.

Where it ended last time. Trevor confronts Steven for his betrayal to class D and Ingrid. He suffers a relapse and faints on Steven. Madam Sue makes effort to bring Natalie back to Hamerton.

Continue:

When they reached the lobby, Steven could no longer carry Trevor on his own. He needed help. He called for it and some juniors responded.
“What happened?” Carlito, one of two boys who assisted Steven asked.
“He just fainted.” Steven replied. “But, we’ll not take him to the hospital wing. Please help me carry him to the leader’s quarters.”
“Okay.” The boy replied and helped with his friend to transport Trevor to his bedroom in the leader’s quarters.
Once there, Steven shoved off the shirt that Trevor had on, leaving him with a vest on as he laid on his back on the bed. Steven used the shirt to fan him for a while, sitting on the edge of the bed next to Trevor’s body. He sighed afterward, hoping that Trevor would not have to go through coma like the last time. He could not afford to take Trevor to the clinic because, Ingrid and Erin would find him there and when he would wake up, Trevor will immediately tell them the reason why he suffered a relapse.
Steven wanted to talk to Trevor first. He had to tell him the reason of his involvement with the sect and how much he wanted to abandon them but could not.
“Oh Trevor please wake up.” He prayed earnestly. “I’ll be in a big mess if you don’t.”

“Hallow?”
“Hallo. Yes please?”
“Is this Mister Bradley?”
“Yes. Who am I talking with?”
“Thank you Mr. Bradley. I am Susanne Hamerton, chief director of Hamerton schools. I understand that your daughter, Natalie Bradley is a student of ours?”
“Yes, yes. It is nice to hear from you ma’am. Yes, my daughter has been attending your school over the past year and, I have to thank you, she has really appreciated and love your school. So do we, really. We are very thankful.”
“Thank you Mr. Bradley. But, your daughter has not reported for this new semester.”
There was a pause. “Yes, yes. Amh, well, my wife and I thought that she should study close to home for a while because I am away from home and we have only Natalie. Ma’am see, my wife is having a baby and there is no one to take care of her.”
Madam Sue sighed but was not willing to refrain from convincing him. “That is sad Mr. Bradley. And congratulations to your wife. But, Mr. Bradley, Natalie was one of our best students. She has exhibited unique character apart from her outstanding academic records.” She paused glancing around at the principal and her brothers. “All the teachers and the whole school administration have recommended your daughter to become President of Hamerton.”
There was a pause then a deep sigh.
Sue noted something. “How does that sound Mister Bradley?”
His voice came pitifully. “I feel honored already that you have called me to give me all the good report of my Natalie. I, I honestly wish that she could still be able to join you there,”
He paused and Madam Sue intervened. “Let’s do this Mr. Bradley, I am offering your daughter, a full year sponsorship. After all, she was going to win it at the international competitions.”
“Oh my God!” Mr. Bradley exclaimed, laughing. “Thank you ma’am. You are very generous. Natalie will be so happy.”
Sue smiled a little. She already realized that Mr. Bradley had problems with Natalie’s fees and all about his wife having a baby was just an excuse. “It’s okay Mr. Bradley. When Natalie reports, her details will already be at the bursar’s office.”
“Yes. Thank you ma’am. I’ll tell her to pack her stuff very quickly.”
“Great. So, when can we expect her back?”
“Oh… By the end of the week I hope.”
“Okay. But, in case there will be any need, the school is ready to cater for Natalie’s expenses.” She said and added. “We do that for our special students.”
“Thank you ma’am. Natalie will join you soon.”
Madam Sue smiled. “Thank you. Fare well.”
“Thank you.”
Sue hang up and turned to her colleagues.

Next on Hamerton:
"6 am. 6 am. 6 am." The man kept on repeating when Kenneth walked in.
Kenneth looked at his condition and felt pitiful. He had to ask, "What happened to him?"
"We are not sure. One thing is though, whatever did, relates to the time he is always rephrasing."

Who is that? stay tuned to find out.
